THE AMAZING WORLD OF GUMBALL EPISODE 3 SEASON 1 TV

I like the characters, all of them have their moments and when they all bounce off each other, it leads to some of my favorite exchanges in any TV show. They're fine, they're not offensive, they're just. The episodes I rated Meh are just episodes that I think. You see, the humor is usually the bulk of nearly all of the episodes here, so if none of the humor manages to land, or if nothing else invests me, I'm practically left with nothing. I thought a lot of the jokes did land, but there is one fundamental problem relating to that which kinda brought this season down. There are several things I've taken note of this season, such as how expressive it is compared to the rest of the show and how much it loves rubbing in your face that there are all of these fascinating animation techniques thrown in, and it looks really beautiful tbh. I thought it was a GOOD start to the show, but it sadly wasn't as good as I remembered it since I was expecting the season to be great. I don't have much to say about this season. I really cannot wait to rip S3-6 a new one (unless, of course, i somehow end up liking them) What really got me to rewatch this entire show was the number of idiots on Twitter uploading these Epic Funny Fourth Wall Breaks that're apparently supposed to be comedic gold, but come off as bad writing to me. Really, I just decided to abandon ship because the show seemed more focused on being 'subversive' than telling good jokes, and I never touched it again until recently. I dropped off of this show by its third season 4 years ago because I began to notice a shift in tone, and the episodes I did see from season 3. All of that stuff I said about the show being really good only applies to its first two seasons, but nothing beyond that. However, this isn't quite true in retrospect, since I think I'm leaving out a few details. I loved its animation, as it was nothing like I've seen before with its unique blend of all animation styles out there, I thought the characters were hilarious, I thought the voice acting was sublime, and the jokes were perfect. It brings me great nostalgia because I've kept up with it even before it premiered, and when it finally did with the episode The DVD, I was hooked.
